Qualification session (paragliding-paramotor passenger transport)

1 Compacted training

1.1 Continuous Training for five days

• gather theoretical and practical training to gain experience of tandem flight .
• intensify and deepen this training, particularly because of the dynamics inherent to a continuous training with a group.
• optimize time management due to the flexibility and adaptation possibilities offered by this type of training, a reliable continuous assessment over time, in practice and psychology fields. After passing the theoretical test at the end of training on the qualification or a custom solution.
• registration with the organizing structure.
• acceptance of terms and conditions.
• 5 days .
• personal mono wing + 1 tandem wing (current and in good condition, tested ) for 2 students ( personal equipment , or provided by the Club or the school that introduces the candidate or by the host school ) .

1.2 Formalities

Presentation of the performation certificate obtained during the evaluation sessions.

1.3 Duration

5 days of about 8 hours

1.4 Material

Personal mono wing + 1 tandem wing identified (current and in good condition) for 2 students ( personal equipment , or provided by the Club or School introducing the candidate or by the host school ) .

1.5 Objectives

theory:

- Regulation and frameworks for the two-seater practice.
- Specific theoretical concepts in tandem ( wing loading, polar speed and consequences of variations in pilot technique ).
- Updating of knowledge .
- Analysis of the practical experience .
- Tutorials (use and synthesis of theoretical knowledge).
- Subjects of examinations ( written test ) .

practice:

- Deepening of the tandem technique.
- Load variation on the same equipment (change of passenger).
- Exchange of equipment.
- Flight in various wind conditions .
- Exam role-playing with individualized correction.
- Continuous evaluation.

1.6 Evaluation

• See page 11 of the document " Programme passenger carriage " attached .
• Issue of the carriage of passengers or sheet formation defining the custom solution that will validate the carriage of passengers after realizing this customized solution.

1.7 Training output

• Certificate of passenger carriage or custom solution if some gaps.
• Indication of the areas of work .
